Depending on the chemical state of my brain, I am either JD, an artist raised by a lesbian mother and a socialist father; Andrea, an ultra liberal literature whiz who graduated from Jerry Falwell's Liberty University; Lisa, a Midwestern child psychologist with a penchant for cosmopolitans and founding member of Chicks with Glue Sticks; Jim, a professor obsessed with psittacine birds, koi and fine speakers; and me, Rey, a go-with-the-flow kind of person with an unhealthy, but purely intellectual interest in chlamydia.
